Examilo Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-20

What Examilo is

Examilo is a practice platform for German language exams (telc and Goethe, A1 to C2). It provides exercises, feedback and an AI assistant called Ilo. Examilo is not affiliated with telc or the Goethe-Institut and does not administer examinations.

Accounts

Accounts are created by an administrator; there is no self-registration. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for the accuracy of the details held against your account.

Cost

Nothing is charged for use. There are no subscriptions, no payment processing and no paid tiers. Should that change, it will say so here first.

Acceptable use

Do not use Examilo to harm others, to disrupt the service, to circumvent access controls, or to extract content at scale by automated means.

Do not share your account. Exercise material is here to practise with, not to redistribute.

Ilo, the AI assistant

Ilo produces answers automatically. They may be incomplete or simply wrong, including when they sound confident.

Do not rely on Ilo for legal, medical or official matters, and do not treat what it says as authoritative information about an examination.

Do not enter sensitive personal data. Where an AI provider is configured your input is sent to it; the privacy policy says more.

Availability

Examilo runs on a single server and is provided without any availability commitment. Interruptions can happen, for maintenance or for failure.

Intellectual property

The exercise material on this platform was written for it. You may use it for your own study; you may not publish it, resell it, or present it as your own.

Liability

Examilo is provided as is. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, and to cases where the law requires it regardless. No particular examination result is promised.

Termination

Accounts that breach these terms may be disabled. You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time; the privacy policy says how long data then remains in backups.

Governing law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are unaffected.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date above states when.
